Into Blue

Into Blue is a study in reduction, depth and chromatic tension. Built through layered

acrylic, the work explores the expressive potential of blue without relying on figurative reference or excessive visual intervention.

The composition deliberately embraces restraint. Rather than introducing additional forms, the painting allows variations in density, transparency and surface to create an immersive sense of depth. The result is a work in which colour becomes both structure and emotional language.

The apparent simplicity of Into Blue is intentional: its visual economy creates space for contemplation and allows the viewer’s own perception and emotional response to become part of the work.

The painting reflects my broader practice of exploring emotional tension, material transformation and visual silence through layered abstraction.
